Abstract
- 1.1. A case of metastatic carcinoma to the appendix resulting in acute appendicitis is presented. This seems to be only the second case reported in the literature.
- 2.2. Obstruction of the lumen of the appendix by tumor is suggested as the pathogenesis of the acute suppurative process.
