Successful resection of a large aneurysm of the upper abdominal aorta and replacement with homograft

      Abstract

      A case is reported of what we believe to be the first successful resection of an arteriosclerotic aneurysm of the upper abdominal aorta with division and anastomosis of the celiac and superior mesenteric arteries to the homograft replacement.
