Abstract
A case of successful resection of primary bronchogenic carcinoma involving the carina
and bifurcation has been reported. Reconstruction with preservation of both main-stem
bronchi was aided by means of a free cartilage graft. A brief review of methods and
criteria to accomplish this procedure are presented.
