Abstract
Seventy-five cases of combined radical panhysterectomy, abdominoperineal excision,
and aortaoiliopelvic lymphadenectomy are reported with gratifying results. It is believed
that combined organ excision of this type in properly selected cases will yield a
significant increase in 5 year survival of carcinoma of the lower colon and rectum
when the pelvic female viscera are involved.
