      Abstract

A simple method of biopsy for breast tumors by means of a new electric drill is described. Biopsy with this apparatus is performed safely and accurately, and it is possible to obtain a part of suspect tumor large enough to allow histological diagnosis. This biopsy apparatus could contribute to early detection of breast carcinoma and the results of surgical treatment would be improved.
