      We thank Dr Pocard et al for their interest in our study. While the initial lymph node status was not a significant factor in our series, both long-term survivors (6 and 12 years after liver surgery) had no lymph node involvement at the time of breast surgery. Therefore, as suggested by Dr Pocard, we agree that the lymph node status might demonstrate a significant impact on survival in larger series.
