Surgery is pleased to announce a new editor-in-chief, Steven D. Wexner, M.D., Ph.D., who is succeeding Michael G. Sarr, M.D. Dr. Sarr has served superbly as the co-editor of Surgery for 22 years, and we thank him for his outstanding service. A tribute to his contributions to Surgery follows. As we wish Dr. Sarr well, we welcome Dr. Wexner, who is the Director of the Digestive Disease Center and Chair of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Dr. Wexner brings a wealth of editorial and digital media experience to Surgery, and we look forward to working with him to continue to offer our authors and readers an exceptional experience in the dynamic environment of surgical publishing.
