We read with special interest the article by Dumarco et al

published in October 2022. Colorectal cancer liver metastases (CCLM) represent a
unique area regarding liver surgery, in which new concepts emerge and are refined
continuously. It becomes even more important as we are dealing with a highly prevalent
disease, the second cause of cancer-related mortality all over the world.
